The best orthodontic marketing companies for a US practice depend on what the practice needs: an ortho-specialist, patient-communication software, a rebrand, or more of its existing traffic booked.

This page is the comparison-shopping companion to the orthodontist marketing guide, which covers the playbook itself; here the subject is who the candidates are.

Every fact below was read on each company's own website on October 5, 2026, and where a company's own pages disagree, both versions are quoted.

How this list of orthodontic marketing companies was built

The stated buyer is an established US orthodontic practice that wants more consultations and starts from its marketing.

Position 1 goes to More Booked Chairs by its own hand, disclosed above; positions 2 through 6 follow how much of each company's own published material is specifically orthodontic, from a mostly orthodontic portfolio down to a specialists page listing orthodontics among several, with no rating, review score or award used at any point.

Where a company does not publish something, this page says "not published": not found on the pages we checked, not proof it does not exist.

The best orthodontic marketing agencies, ranked by fit

Each entry leads with the practice it fits best; the fit judgments are ours, not the companies'.

1. More Booked Chairs

Best for: practices already getting traffic that want more of it booking consultations, with prices and terms published up front.

More Booked Chairs is a one-person consultancy for US dental practices, orthodontic practices included, selling three services: CRO (conversion rate optimization), local SEO, and managed Meta ads.

Prices are published: CRO $2,500/mo, local SEO $2,500/mo, the combined program $5,000/mo (6-month minimums), and managed Meta ads $3,000/mo plus $2,500 one-time setup (3-month minimum), ad spend paid directly to Meta at a $3,000/mo minimum, never marked up.

After the minimum, every service runs month to month (cancel by email, 30 days' notice, no fee), and the practice owns its ad account, website, Google Business Profile and everything built.

Google Ads, website builds, social posting and per-lead pricing are not offered, and there are no guarantees.

There are no dental clients yet; the track record is founder Gabe Meierotto's own, Director of CRO at LaserAway from 2018 to 2023, where sitewide conversion went from 3% → 11% across more than 2,600 tested variations.

The fact sheet lists every service, price and term; engagements start with a free audit, a prioritized findings doc within 3 business days.

2. Ortho Marketing

Best for: practices wanting an ortho-specialist, full-service agency bundling website, SEO, paid ads, a CRM and an outsourced call center.

Ortho Marketing, a Presentation Multimedia Inc. property per its security policy page, says it works "exclusively with orthodontists and dentists", with separate Orthodontists and Dentists menu sections, so it is ortho-led but not orthodontist-only (checked October 2026).

Its portfolio lists 17 practices, most of them orthodontic; services span websites and hosting, SEO, PPC, paid social, social media and reputation management, branding, video, the SmileHub CRM, and a live call center with direct-to-calendar booking.

Its SEO page, "SEO for Orthodontists & Dentists", lists audits, copywriting, link building and reports.

The call center is sold as "One Flat Monthly Fee. No Lead Caps. No Surprises." with no dollar amount published, and no pricing, contract or ownership terms found.

Its about page says "Since 2010" and "For over 15 years" while its homepage says "over 20 years in business"; both are its own statements, as is its "#1 Orthodontist Marketing Agency" claim.

Its proof is self-reported: a case study credits iSmile Orthodontics with a "96% jump in direct traffic & 50% more organic clicks", and its call center page lists "HIPAA-Compliant Communication", with no BAA found.

3. Sesame Communications

Best for: practices that want patient communication software (reminders, texting, bill pay, a portal) and a website plus SEO from one vendor, especially those already on Dentrix or OrthoTrac.

Sesame describes its websites as "built exclusively for dentistry, orthodontic, and specialty practices" and titles its SEO page "Orthodontic and Dental Specialty SEO", though SEO is one product line alongside its software (checked October 2026).

Smile Savvy, an orthodontic web company, "became one company" with Sesame in April 2019, and its contact consent routes through "Henry Schein One, LLC and its affiliates", so it is fairly described as part of that ecosystem, which its site stops short of calling ownership.

SEO includes content, link-building coaching, a review of up to three local competitors, Google Business Profile and Bing management, and quarterly rankings for 20 keywords per location.

Pricing is not published: PPC is an add-on "for an additional cost" with ad budgets from a $300 minimum, which is ad spend, not a fee.

Contract terms are not published either; the footer's linked terms are Henry Schein One website-use terms with nothing on service length, renewal or ownership.

Its homepage claims "over 20 years of experience" while its careers page says "over 17 years"; both are its own statements, and no BAA wording appears on the pages checked.

4. Studio 8E8

Best for: orthodontic, pediatric, startup and group practices whose first priority is brand, website, photo and video, and that can commit 12 months.

Studio 8E8, in New Albany, Ohio, calls itself "Dentistry's Story-Driven Marketing Agency" and lists orthodontists among the practice types it serves (checked October 2026).

It keeps a dedicated orthodontist page ("Become the Go-To Orthodontist in Your Community") and sells branding, websites, photography, video, SEO, digital ads and social media.

Pricing is not published; the only dollar figure in its terms is a $500 monthly support rate while a project is delayed.

The terms require a 12-month minimum on marketing packages, and cancelling before twelve months "will result in payment of the remaining balance"; advanced SEO needs 12 months and digital ads 6, each on 30 days' notice.

Website prices are reduced with that 12-month commitment, failing to complete it means full website payment, and payments are non-refundable.

On exit, the client owns works developed under the agreement once payment and all obligations are complete.

Its site offers no BAA, and its FAQ says its email "should not be considered HIPAA-compliant" for protected health information; its Inc. Midwest growth-ranking claim is self-reported.

5. KickStart Dental Marketing

Best for: established independent orthodontic practices (its strategy call targets owners of roughly $750K and up) wanting one agency per market across SEO, ads, front desk and ROI tracking.

KickStart, in Greenwood Village, Colorado, founded by Chris Pistorius, says it has worked "only in dental since 2009" and takes one practice per market, typically a 25-mile radius (checked October 2026).

Orthodontists get a program built around consults and starts: phase I campaigns for parents, adult aligner campaigns, GP referral tracking and cost-per-start reporting, though general dentistry is its main market.

Services run from SEO and Google Maps through Google, Bing and Meta ads, websites, an AI receptionist, front-desk training, speed-to-lead and PMS-integrated ROI tracking.

It publishes a range, not a rate card: "Most growing practices invest $3,000 to $10,000/month across SEO, paid ads, website, and reputation combined, plus media spend on Google and Meta", its words for typical client investment, not a fixed price.

On exit, its website page states "You own the site, the design and all the content"; ad accounts are not addressed, and its SEO page says plainly that it does not guarantee rankings.

Contract term, renewal and cancellation are not published, and its results page carries self-reported counters (700+ practices served, 96% client retention) beside its own disclaimer that results vary.

6. Golden Proportions Marketing

Best for: established practices, specialists, groups and DSOs wanting a long-running dental-only agency with strategy, branding and traditional media, on a 12-month term either side can exit on 30 days' notice.

Golden Proportions states that "dental marketing is what we do. And it's ALL we do", and its specialist page lists orthodontics beside dental implants, oral surgery and pediatrics (checked October 2026).

Its services span branding, websites, SEO, PPC, social media, TV and radio ads, a dental CMO program, and Smart Market Dental call tracking that connects calls to patient records for ROI reporting.

Pricing is not published; its legal page sets revision fees of $250 or $500 per additional round depending on the work, or $190 an hour, whichever is greater.

The agreement runs a 12-month term that either party can end for any reason on 30 days' written notice, and work product becomes the client's property once accepted as final within two months and fees are paid.

Two clauses deserve a read: a $1,000 reinstatement fee after a suspension, and a legal page putting liability for HIPAA violations on clients who share recorded calls, with no BAA found.

It reports "two decades in business and over 2,000 dental clients" and credits Sunshine Dentists with a 319% new-patient increase over two years, both self-reported; its 7-9%-of-collections budget advice is opinion, not a benchmark.

What the top orthodontic marketing agencies have in common

Illustrative. Placements reflect the orthodontic focus and contract facts documented above, checked October 2026; companies whose contract terms are not published sit on the midline.

First, only two of the six publish real prices; the other four route the number through a sales call.

Second, the exit lives in the terms: three of the six publish no contract terms at all.

Third, none of the five external sites we checked offers a BAA; several describe specific products as HIPAA compliant, secure or aware, which is product wording, not a signed agreement, and More Booked Chairs does not publish a BAA either, so ask before sharing patient data.

How to choose between the best orthodontic marketing agencies

The wider field is bigger than the ortho specialists: the best dental marketing companies list covers eleven dental-focused agencies, several also serving orthodontic practices.

Five questions separate a fit from a mistake.

  • What share of your current clients are orthodontic practices, and can I speak with one?
  • Is the monthly fee published, or does it only exist after a sales call?
  • What is the minimum term, the renewal rule, the notice period, and what does leaving early cost?
  • Who owns the website, ad accounts, landing pages and phone numbers if we stop?
  • Will you report consultations held and treatment starts, or only clicks and impressions?

Match the answers to your bottleneck: orthodontic SEO for map-pack problems, orthodontic consultation conversion for requests that never become starts.

When the shortlist narrows to one or two, a free audit is the fastest next step: a prioritized findings doc within 3 business days, no call required.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best marketing company for orthodontists?

There is no single best one for every practice. The useful test is fit: how much of the company's published work is orthodontic, whether prices and contract terms are published, who owns the website and accounts if you leave, and whether its strength matches your bottleneck.

How much do orthodontic marketing companies cost?

Most do not publish prices. On this list, More Booked Chairs publishes flat rates from $2,500 a month, and KickStart publishes a typical client investment of $3,000 to $10,000 a month across services plus media spend; the other four publish no prices at all (checked October 2026), so ask each for a written quote.

Which orthodontic marketing company has the shortest contract?

Golden Proportions has the shortest effective commitment: its 12-month term can be ended by either side on 30 days' written notice. More Booked Chairs runs 6-month minimums (3 months for ads), then month to month with no cancellation fee. Studio 8E8 requires 12 months on marketing packages with the remaining balance due on early cancel, and Ortho Marketing, Sesame Communications and KickStart publish no contract terms at all.

Who owns the website and ad accounts if I leave one of these companies?

Where it is stated in writing: with More Booked Chairs, the practice owns its accounts and everything built; KickStart says you own the site, design and content, with ad accounts not addressed; Studio 8E8 transfers works after payment and all obligations; Golden Proportions transfers work product after acceptance and payment. Ortho Marketing and Sesame Communications do not state it on their sites, so get it in writing before signing.

Is More Booked Chairs an orthodontic marketing company?

It is a one-person consultancy for US dental practices, orthodontic practices included, focused on conversion rate optimization, local SEO and managed Meta ads. It does not build websites, manage Google Ads or offer per-lead pricing, and it has no dental clients yet, so the list above exists because other companies fit needs it does not serve.
