Wonderist Agency: the full-service benchmark
Wonderist calls itself "a full-service dental marketing agency," and its homepage lists dental websites, local marketing, SEO, AI search optimization and PMS-connected ROI tracking (checked October 2026).
Its ads cover Google, Facebook and Instagram, its CRM sends automated SMS and email funnels by its own description, and its PMS integrations include Dentrix, Eaglesoft and Open Dental.
Pricing is where the record stops: managed ad budgets from $500 to $1,000 a month, from $1,000 to $3,000 and from $3,000 and up on its Google Ads page, but no published management fee, and a pricing page offering a 45-minute call instead of a number.
Its homepage case studies are self-reported, including startup Cornerstone Dentistry at a stated 1654% return on ad spend on $11,487 of spend over 13 months.
Laura Maly started it at a kitchen table in Los Angeles as a one-woman consulting group, and dates her jump into business ownership to 2011, with Michael Anderson as the other founding partner.
No contract term, cancellation, ownership or BAA wording was found across its homepage, services pages, pricing page or privacy policy in October 2026.
The trade: one dental-only team for everything, video and CRM included, for fees and terms given only in a sales call.
Progressive Dental Marketing: the implant and full-arch alternative
Progressive Dental describes itself as one of the first agencies dedicated to dental implant marketing and full-arch growth; its implant page is headlined "The World's Largest Dental Implant Marketing Agency," its own claim.
No price list is published, but its terms disclose management fees of 30% to 50% of the budget, due regardless of actual monthly spend, plus a 3% administrative fee and a $369 monthly social media fee (terms updated June 17, 2026).
The initial term runs 12 months and auto-renews for consecutive 12-month terms, with a 90-to-30-day notice window.
On breach, including a missed payment, the terms allow accelerating all payments due for the entire term.
Ownership tilts toward the agency: ads, ad copy and landing pages are stated to be its property, ads run through its own business accounts, and hosted-website clients keep only the URL.
The terms state it does not and cannot guarantee results, its HIPAA section is a warranty from the practice that its own website complies, and no BAA is offered.
Bart Knellinger founded the company in 2009, and its Closing Institute arm sells what it calls dentistry's only full-arch sales training.
That makes it the shortlist for implant, full-arch and perio practices with large budgets.
Golden Proportions Marketing: the two-decade generalist
Golden Proportions states on its homepage that dental marketing is all it does, with services spanning marketing plans, branding, websites, SEO, PPC, social media, TV and radio, a dental CMO program and Smart Market Dental call tracking that ties calls to patient records.
Prices are not published (legal page, checked October 2026); it lists revision fees of $250 per extra non-web round, $500 for website copy or design revisions, or $190 per hour, whichever is greater.
The agreement runs a 12-month term either party can end for any reason on 30 days' written notice; on termination the agency transfers client materials and third-party contracts, including advertising media.
Work product becomes the client's once accepted as final within two months and fees are paid; a $1,000 reinstatement fee applies after a suspension.
No BAA appears on the pages checked: its call-tracking page calls Smart Market Dental HIPAA-compliant, and its legal page puts HIPAA liability on clients who share recorded calls.
"Two decades in business and over 2,000 dental clients" is self-reported.
Founder Xaña Winans leads it under Pennsylvania governing law, making it the established-practice, specialist and DSO alternative: strategy, branding and traditional media, with a 30-day exit either side can trigger.
:Delmain: the alternative that publishes its prices
Dan Delmain started :Delmain in 2009; its about page says he has overseen marketing for more than 500 US dental practices, with 40 team members, both self-reported.
Its channels are SEO, AI search, Google Ads, Microsoft Ads and Meta Ads.
Its prices are the most granular of the six (investments page, checked October 2026): SEO tiers at $575, $1,100 and $1,500 a month, and ad management at $650 for $1,000 to $1,999 in spend, $775 for $2,000 to $3,999 and $975 for $4,000 and up, becoming 10% of spend above $9,750, across one combined Google, Microsoft and Meta budget.
The $575 tier unlocks only after a completed 6-month commitment to a higher tier; each additional location adds $200 a month.
The contract runs six months, then month to month on 30 days' notice, though a newly added service starts a fresh 6-month commitment.
On ownership the homepage says "You own all our work (buy, don't rent!)" and "No setup fees or annual contracts," while the pricing page says partners without a website get an unpriced setup fee, so read both.
No BAA is published; its site calls the website package ePHI-Secure (HIPAA-Aligned) and PatientPulse HIPAA-Compliant.
KickStart Dental Marketing: one practice per market
KickStart says it has worked only in dental since 2009 and takes one practice per market, typically a 25-mile radius.
Its services run from SEO and Google Maps through Google, Bing and Meta ads, websites, online booking, an AI receptionist, front-desk training, speed-to-lead workflows and PMS-integrated ROI tracking.
Published pricing is a range, not a package: most growing practices invest $3,000 to $10,000 a month across SEO, ads, website and reputation, plus media of $1,000 to $5,000 a month on Google or Bing and $300 to $700 on Meta per location (its services pages, checked October 2026).
The practice owns the site, the design and all the content if it leaves, by its own FAQ, and ad-account ownership is not addressed.
It declines to guarantee rankings because Google controls them, describes HIPAA-aware ads and HIPAA-secure forms, and no BAA wording appears.
Its results page shows self-reported counters of 700-plus practices served and a 7:1 average return on ad spend, beside its own disclaimer that results vary.
Contract terms are not published, the strategy call targets owners of roughly $750K-plus practices, and founder Chris Pistorius runs it.
More Booked Chairs: the narrow alternative
More Booked Chairs is the smallest option here: a one-person consultancy for US dental practices selling CRO at $2,500 a month, local SEO at $2,500 a month, both at $5,000 a month (6-month minimums), and managed Meta ads at $3,000 a month plus a $2,500 setup (3-month minimum).
Ad spend is paid directly to Meta, at a $3,000 a month minimum, never marked up and never a percentage.
Every price sits on the pricing page, and the fact sheet lists the terms: after the minimum, month to month, canceled by email with 30 days' notice and no cancellation fee.
The practice owns its Meta ad account, pixel and audiences, its website, domain, Google Business Profile and analytics, and keeps every page, ad, test result and report.
No BAA is published, so a practice that needs one should ask before sharing patient data.
The track record is Gabe Meierotto's own: Director of CRO at LaserAway from 2018 to 2023, where sitewide conversion went from 3% to 11% across 2,600-plus tested variations, his numbers from a former in-house role, not dental results, at a company founded in 2026 with no dental clients yet.

Frequently asked questions
Why do practices look for Wonderist Agency alternatives?
Mostly fit and transparency: Wonderist publishes no management fee and no contract terms, so practices that want numbers in writing before a sales call comparison-shop. Others want a narrow specialist rather than one full-service team.
How much does Wonderist Agency cost?
Its management fee is not published. Its Google Ads page lists managed ad budgets from $500 to $1,000 a month up to $3,000 and above, billed monthly, and its pricing page offers a 45-minute call rather than a price (checked October 2026).
Which Wonderist alternatives publish their prices?
:Delmain publishes SEO tiers from $575 to $1,500 a month and ad management from $650 to $975 a month, KickStart publishes a typical investment range of $3,000 to $10,000 a month plus media spend, and More Booked Chairs publishes flat rates from $2,500 to $5,000 a month. Progressive Dental discloses a fee structure only in its terms, and Golden Proportions publishes no prices beyond revision fees.
Which Wonderist alternative has the shortest contract?
Golden Proportions, in practice: its term is 12 months, but its published agreement lets either side end it for any reason on 30 days' written notice. :Delmain runs six months and then month to month with 30 days' notice, and More Booked Chairs six months for CRO and local SEO (three for ads) and then month to month. Progressive Dental auto-renews 12-month terms, and KickStart and Wonderist do not publish terms.
Does Wonderist Agency sign a BAA?
No BAA wording was found on its homepage, services pages, pricing page or privacy policy when checked in October 2026, and none of the five alternatives publishes one either. Ask any vendor directly, in writing, before sharing patient data.
